from injury as he rushed for 115 yards.  Another player who deserves mention is wide receiver, Hines Ward.  Whenever the Steelers needed a big catch it seemed that Ward was there to pick up the first down.  Ward had eleven catches for 124 yards.

nd the NFL is currently looking into it) that the Ravens had a bounty out on Rashard Mendenhall and Hines Ward of the Steelers.  What’s wrong with that?  Doesn’t anybody remember the Bounty Bowls?

Was Hines Ward a cornerback in another life, or is he secretly an MMA fighter?  Ouch!

Not much else to say about this game.  The Bengals are now 0-7, and even if they run the table after this they'll just be playing for next year.  I think Marvin Lewis should be seriously considered as fodder for the headsman.  It's not all his fault, but with the weapons he has at his command -- Cedric Benson, T.J. Houshmandzadeh, The Wide Receiver Formerly Known As Chad Johnson and so on -- he should have been able to cobble something together at this point.  The axe is falling all over the league this year; it might as well fall in Cincy too.

s my first post so I'm breaking the ice by calling out one of my favorite Steelers of all-time, Hines Ward.

Last week, QB Ben Roethlisberger was asked what he wanted to see done this offseason. Big Ben said he wanted to get his contract extension done as soon as possible and was hoping the Steelers would draft a tall wide receiver. After I read it, it never gave me the impression that Roethlisberger was demanding the Steelers to take big receiver (like 6-foot-5 big) in the early rounds. He just wanted to let the organization know to at least think about it when a tall receiver is on the board. Fine.
