Doug Marrone was hired by the Syracuse Orange to replace Greg Robinson who basically didn't take the Orange anywhere but down. Doug Marrone was the New Orleans Saints offensive coordinator since 2006. So, he's been in the game a while. Also, he did play college football for Syracuse under a great coach, recently enrolled Hall of Famer, Dick MacPherson.
