Little Brother Beat-Down Proves Cleveland Still Can't Hang With The Steelers

Same as it ever was... Same as it ever was. The Pittsburgh Steelers own the Browns. No two ways about it, they're simply better. Better coaching, better skill positions, better depth, and even better colors. Yet every year we're fed the media kool-aid about the Cleveland Browns, and how they're going to challenge for the division title, and every year some-one's willing to drink it. "Look at the off-season moves", or "They drafted really well this year" are some of the most common statements made seemingly every year. Yet every year when they face the Steelers, and most importantly, themselves, they fold under the pressure. It's one thing for Cleveland to face Pittsburgh, but it's another thing for Cleveland to face themselves when they face Pittsburgh. Get it?

Though the rivalry is known as one of the most bitter in football, a 16-2 record in favor of the Steelers, dating back to the year 2000, tends to water down the true meaning of a rivalry. Yes, the all-time series is almost even, but not since the 80's and aided by the power of Bernie Kosar's curled mullet, have the Browns mustered up a winning record against the Black and Gold.

No case of the Steelers simply having their number, it's a case of the Steelers being in their head, and at this point, Pittsburgh can unpack, because it seems they'll be staying a while. And I dare you to tell James Harrison to take off his shoes before stepping on the carpet.
